03/30/11 – As soon as the new contract is ready, we will be submitting an SOSS for this work. We are recommending a full fire alarm replacement.
04/27/11 – Drawings are 95% complete. HamCo review is next Thursday and bidding is scheduled in May 2011. We are going to try to have this system installed by Dec 2011.
05/12/11- Prebid was successful. Bidding questions answered and addendums sent out. Bid opening next week.
06/24/11 – Bid is complete, contract is submitted to Prosecutor for approval.
07/27/11 – Project construction kick-off meeting. Signed contracts and PO were given to Phasor Electric. Phasor Electric went to JC to have background checks completed. AutoCAD files were sent to Simplex to have submittal drawings and permit drawings started. Anticipated submittal date (permit submission) is 08/12/11. Anticipated mobilization date is 09/12/11.
12/23/11 – Project has been punch listed. Final inspection is complete. We are beginning the closeout process on this project.
02/22/12 – Project closeout documents received at TEI on 02/21/12 from Phasor electric, including signed transmittal from Phil White at the Coroner’s Office indicating receipt of extra materials. TEI in process of reviewing Closeout Documents and submitting to County.
02/28/12 – ThermalTech is in receipt of the closeout documents that were submitted for this project, along with request for final payment. Per the project manual, there are items that must be submitted prior to processing the final payments. Upon receipt of the following items, we can process the closeout documents: Punchlist (completed and signed), Notarized statements of warrantee, AIA Document G706A Contractor’s Affidavit of release of leans, separate Affidavits and waiver of liens for each subcontractor and material supplier, AIA Document G707-consent of surety to final payment.
03/28/12 – Mike Barth has had conversations with Cintas and Phasor, and Phasor is in contact with Simplex. The tags on the annunciator will be placed. Simplex is getting Cintas a points list, and then Cintas will change the monitoring to “contact ID”, which will report back whatever the points registered as (aka the unique address description). Phasor requested that all occurs in 1 week (by 4/4/12). O & Ms and As Build drawings are in our office. This project should be completed and closed out completely in the next couple of weeks.
05/04/12 – Mike Jackson, Phil White, Claude Graf and Mike Barth met at the Coroner’s office. Cinta’s, Simplex and Phasor have finally coordinated the fire alarm panel, monitoring, and reporting of the new system at the Coroner’s Office, and the monitoring company now reports back the correct data when they phone in the alarms, troubles and supervisory activations. We conducted a final test this morning, and every device tested reported properly. Mike Barth will process through final closeout documents for the project in the next few days.
05/30/12 – Final project acceptance testing occurred on 05/04/12, and all parties accepted system. Closeout documents and final pay applications have been sent to Hamco for processing.
